Gregor Palfred
Gregor Palfred was a former Leviathan Hunter who became a manufacturer of helian's hymn for The Sparkwrights. His helian's hymn was sold by The Sparkwrights to The Leviathan Hunters before Demon Squad killed Gregor and took over the racket.
Gregor retired from being a Leviathan Hunter after losing his legs in an accident. He turned to alchemy to regrow his lost limbs and manufactured helian's hymn to support his anatomical experiments. At first, he experimented on himself, but after growing a third ear, he sought out new subjects. He took to abducting dockworkers and experimenting on them to this end.
After Demon Squad employed Pantera Holland to manufacture helian's hen, we needed to eliminate a source of the drug to make way for our entry into the market. After hearing rumors of Gregor's crimes, we decided to eliminate him.
We learned from Flint that Gregor was fond of drinking at a local bar and leading sea shanties. Because Gregor had protection from the local Sparkwrights, we needed to meet him there. Two people had previously tried to break into his lab, and their bodies were discovered unrecognizable.
Demon Squad met with The Dockworkers and convince them to let us hire a boat. Lief discovered that The Dockworkers are loathe to make problems with The Leviathan Hunters, owing to their tight financial relationship. Psspsspss acquired two bottles of Fantasy Hennessy to load onto the boat.
Demon Squad learned some sea shanties, and then once in the bar, The Butler led us all in a round of singing, attracting Gregor's attention. Gregor approached us in an electroplasm-powered wheelchair and we convinced him to come with us out to sea to drink Fantasy Hennessy. Elmer Dink ingratiated himself to Gregor by comparing his work on hair regrowth to Gregor's work on limb regrowth.
Once at sea, Demon Squad began drinking with Gregor. Gregor told Elmer of an herb called Habersnatch which he had used in his experiments. The Butler then picked him up and threw him into the ocean. After some discussion of what to do next, Psspsspss communed with the ghost of a Leviathan Hunter and requested that he ensure that Gregor is drowned. In exchange, the ghost requested that we perform a Rite of Cleansing on him. Butler then compelled the ghost to drag Gregor across the sea, and feed him to the very leviathan that took his legs. This incident disturbed Elmer, but Patch convinced him that what we had done, despite being disturbing, was just.
