Pantera Holland
Pantera Holland is an alchemist and an Employee of Demon Squad. She works in her lab aboard The Houseboat, alongside Karo Anchiat, whom she oversees. She manufactures helian's hen for Demon Squad, and has been known to produce other drugs when asked, such as focus fox. She does not care for nicknames, and does not appreciate being called "Panty" or "Pancetta."
Pantera previously plied her trade in service of Master Slane. Her source of raw materials at the time was Rector Gallblat.
Demon Squad discovered Pantera when we were contracted by The Gondoliers to investigate Master Slane and prevent him from dredging the canals. We followed her from her suspected drug lab warehouse in Coalridge to her home in Silkshore. We then raided Pantera's multilevel warehouse lab and captured her, forcing her to eat smaller herbs in the process, which covered her in thick, curly hair.
Once we had Pantera imprisoned, we were able to strike a deal with her. Elmer Dink concocted a hair-removal serum for her to counteract the effects of the smaller herbs, and we agreed to give her a cut of our profits. In exchange, she would live on the houseboat, have a lab provided for her there, and manufacture helian's hymn for us to distribute. She also requested the freedom to seek revenge against a man from her past, which we graciously granted her.
In order to establish Demon Squad as players in the helian's hymn market, we needed to take out one of Doskvol's current manufacturers. Pantera provided us with the names of two distributors: Power the Hookworm and Gregor Palfred. After killing Gregor, Pantera advised us to put out some feelers and assume his connections.
On The Butler's request, Pantera manufactures for us a special blend of helian's hymn which we call helian's hen. It is very sparkly and bright. If you look directly at it in the light, you will go blind. We sell it in a fine black matte box, which we often have monogrammed with the initials of our customers.
After the capture of Laba’gurtr’an, Demon Squad met with Cornelius Drinkofwater, who served tea to Elmer Dink. Cornelius told Elmer to keep the mug, and Elmer gave it to Pantera as a gift.
Elmer has consulted with Pantera on matters of alchemy, particularly concerning the matter of hair regrowth.
A few weeks after Jerry McCaskill joined Demon Squad, he spent a great deal of time aboard the houseboat, annoying Pantera and eating a lot of her drugs, not knowing what they were.
Before the exorcism of Cornelius Whitemarsh, we asked Pantera to formulate an especially strong variant of focus fox for Jerry, which took her half a day to make. She also provided a headache remedy to Psspsspss. She also provided us with a powder to blow in Jerry's face to wipe him of the effects of the focus fox.
At the same meeting, Psspsspss requested of Pantera a sip from one of her containers full of a mysterious liquid. Pantera poured him a thimbleful and requested that he take notes on how he's feeling over the next 24 hours.
